With Covid restrictions now lifted, your committee has re-booked the English Riviera Centre in Torquay for the Seale-Hayne “Centenary Reunion” which will be held on the evening of Saturday October 15th this year. Tickets for the Gala Dinner / Dance (live band) are now available at £30.00 per person.
If you would like to visit Seale-Hayne whilst you’re here, please do so on the Sunday morning after the dinner. The Old Library and The Cornish Room will be open housing an extensive display of artefacts, photographs and other interesting Seale-Hayne items discovered by our regular archiving group. The Lower West Café will also be open offering light refreshments, but there will be limited access to other areas of the College since much of it is now under private tenancy. We will, however, all be able to wander around the grounds and reminisce.
Torquay is a great place to spend a weekend with plenty of hotels, Air BnB’s and guest houses available, so it’s an ideal time to arrange an Autumn Break. Please encourage friends, contemporaries and colleagues to come along and let’s all make this reunion one to remember!
Early booking is advised as tickets to the Dinner/Dance are limited and accommodation in Torquay gets booked up quite a long way in advance. Ticket sales will close in any case on Saturday September 3rd, 6-weeks prior to the event.
Book your tickets soon and join us for The Seale-Hayne Centenary Reunion. |
